This is by far, one of the best DIY homemade natural face mask that gets rid of acne and softens ones skin.
Celery face mask. Who knew? Has anyone ever tried this? Please let me know in the comments below. I have been spending quite a bit of time on researching the effects of fruits and veggies on ones face and trying out natural beauty products with my teenage daughter here at home and this one takes the cake. I combined these four items: ginger, celery, honey, and oats. And happily, discovered something that works good for our face—amazing results! In order to create the celery face mask one would need to purchase: 1 stalk of organic celery, honey, organic ginger (ground or whole), and oats. If you don’t have a blender, you will need it for this. First, clean the stalk of celery and then chop it up into 1 inch pieces and add to the blender. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey, 1/2 cup of oats, and 2 teaspoons of organic ginger to the blender, as well. Blend till it has a creamy texture. Spoon 🥄out about 1/4 cup of the mix in a bowl or a resealable plastic bag, to use for later. Next, pour the rest of the mixture into the ice tray and cover it with silicone lid or plastic wrap. Let the celery mix freeze and once it’s all frozen empty the cubes into a freezer safe container or freezer safe resealable plastic bag. Write the date prepared onto the freezer bag or ice try with a black wax pencil and this recipe makes about a 14 day supply. When it’s time to apply the celery mask to your face, put 1 cube into a microwave safe bowl and defrost the ice cube in the microwave. Put the defrosted celery face mask into a safe dish that you use for facials or one from your cupboard. If it’s not warm enough, you can warm the celery mix in the microwave with a safe temperature and then apply it to your face using a facial mask brush; concentrating on the areas that you think needs it the most. No shame. You’re still fabulous. ***It is best to apply this celery face mask at night, in order to avoid sunlight and one should apply the celery face mask while it’s warm.*** After, you have worn the celery face mask for about 15-20 minutes, rinse it off with luke warm water or cold water. We saw results within 7 days, and it has become a weekly routine. Please let me know in the comments if you plan on trying this out and if you have already tried this before.
